I would say give it more time. For reference I feed 2 cubes a day plus 2 sizes of pellets so I feel like it is safe to assume I feed a lot more. I only get away with that because of the ats and also the new skimmer I bought is rated for over 600 plus gallons.

No one overflow wasn't getting enough flow . Seems like my stands shims are starting to compress a bit . Going to pull some trim and send some more shims in it. Got about half the rock work done. Will try to get some more pics later today.

Yea I hope so. Well first problem only 3 drains are really moving water one barely has anything coming out. I am curious if my returns just do not have the flow capacity to make all the drains needed. I could use some insight if that even makes sense and if in all reality it is a problem...

What type of output do you have on your return line ? If you using loc line just keep it towards the top of the display so they syphon breaks fast.

Well it is week 3 and it finally looks like the remaining idol is starting to gain some weight. It still has aggression issues toward the mag fox so I am hoping he will eventually calm down. We shall see what happens.

Just a FYI dropping the salinity in the tank does not need to be done slowly. Saltwater fish can be put right into hypo with no issues. Going up on the other hand needs to be done slowly.

Either use your spare sponges or a few rocks from main tank. I personally just used a few rocks from my tank.

yea the other one is eating pretty good although it is still on the fence about mysis and such. It mostly eats the clam, nls and algae. It is definitely not losing weight but it is very hard to tell if it is gaining any. It's streamer is steady growing so I am taking that as a good sign...

Mixing your own saltwater with RODI is going to be the best bet for any salt tank. If the cyano does get out of hand it can be a real pain to get rid of. A trick I have used before is erythromycin. It is a fish medicine for bacterial infections ,but cyano being a bacteria it will kill it as well...

Those new ats lights look pretty nice. I am still using clamp lamps myself but may make the switch to leds in the future.
