I resealled my tank with silicon 1 after looking it up on the Internet and multiple sources said this was great to use. It cured for 2 and a half days now half my fish have died suddenly. What should I do!

Just woke up to find my 115g tank leaking all over the carpet. Seems to be leaking from the bottom. Any ideas how this happened? I have had it set up for a few months. Once it's fixed I just want to prevent this from happening again.
