Woke up to find some egg-looking things in my tank. Got 5 neon tetras and 5 silver tip tetra. They can be seen in the attached picture (on top of the inner magnet, top of heater and on heater clips) Are they eggs of these fish Hope you can help ?

What are the white strands coming from this plant. I really dont like them and they look unsightly. Can i get rid of them ? Thanks as usual JavaMoss

I could rehome 3-4. They are silver tip tetras !

So could i take out the black neon tetras ? There quite big. How many tetra sizes fish would you recommend for my tank ?

Nope. The problem with diy is that if you were to clamp it off, the bottle of CO2 will explode due to the pressure. Your tank will be fine :)

As you can see my aquatic plants are staring to grow out of the water. How and where should i cut them down to ? Do i simply just cut off all the tips ? Many Thanks, JavaMoas

I used to keep my aquarium light on for 15 hours a day :O until I realised its only supposed to be on for 8-12. The tank is newly setup and it was exdisplay so I'm assuming its the fact its newly setup and the bulb is not penetrating properly. So I will look into it. Also I have an under gravel...
