So after a long break from the hobby I was given a free tank by a friend. When I went to buy a stand from my local LFS, I accidentaly bought a used 100 gal, oops.
I know I would like to go with dwarf cichlids again; the tank is 60" long by 18" wide I believe.
Apistogromma: 2 pairs...
Yes this is another ick thread, after I had to miss my weekly water changes, I final was able to make it home and the first thing I see is my female gold ram has about five or six white dots! I was just wondering if salt is ok with gold rams, neon tetras, and glo light tetras?
Ok, I've decided I want to try plants. I want to get a new tank too! :) So I need suggestions from what substraight to what tank size would be best. I will probably be using this tank for my betta/ any fry that pop up in my main tanks.
Was wondering, what could I add to my stock. I am looking for a colorful school that generally stays in the mid level, its a 125, with 2 gbr, gold ram, elce blue ram, 1 beta, 1 red tail shark, 2 angles, and 13 various corys.
I got hone from work this morning, and I was talking to my roommate about how I wish that two of my rams would pair up. Then I go over to my tank because I thought my fish were acting strange, and there he was a proud papa guarding his eggs!! I was so happy I could have died!!
My male betta hasn't eaten in three days. He is starting to become dull and his fins are not as pretty as they were. He is also starting to form stress stripes. All of this started after his couple of failed attempts to build a bubble nest which kept popping. Some advice would me much appreciated.
I am trying to seed a filter to speed up the cycle on my 125 , however i don't have any room to jam the filter in my current tank, so i buried it during my last pwc . Will this work, and how long should i leave it in there?
Since getting my JD's I have noticed that I haven't had any bugs floating in my tank, I use to get one every few days. So I was wondering if it would be okay to give them a cricket every once and a while.
I am trading my 30gal for a 150gal, great deal i know!
I would like to use sand for the substrait, black or pool,
I already have two JDs and i would like to get one or two more,
what other fish could i have with this setup?
