Lol, I didnt literally "get him" for easter. It took a lot if convincing of my parents. I rescued him from a farm. Lol, I never get stuff for easter. I just had to convince them. There were 2 other ducks, but they didnt make it. :'(

Lol sure. There is a younger pic, and an older pic. I named him Roxas, from Kingdom Hearts. Lol, he is 3 months old. I got him for easter. On his wings, he has blue, green and purple feathers.

I do have other pets. I have a dog, 3 cats and a duck. But my parents dont wanna buy all kinds of stuff for a "fish thats gonna die in a week", as they say. So thats why they are making me show "responsiblity" for it, which I obviously am. My precious betta is perfectly fine in his tank.

I have a few questions... i am still "new-ish" to the fish world. What is Ick/Itch, and what are symptoms? What are some symptoms of a sick fish? They arent really good questions...but I just wanna know so I can protect my precious betta!

This is my betta Deidara. (dont ask about the name) he is like my prized possesion. After having him for about 3 days, he is showing his true personality. He keeps flaring at every single thing! Every rock, and even me! He loves swimming and darting around. Today is the first day he has started...

If you were talking to me...I have never tried giving my betta flakes. Which do you prefer? Flakes, or pellets?

I use Wardley Betta Food (pellets) Except I am thinking about getting a different kind because I dont think my betta likes it.

I was just wondering if it is safe to make bettas flare. I like taking a small mirror, and putting it in front of him, and watching him flare. I have only done it twice since I got him last night. But I was just wondering if it was safe to do that, (not all the time) because I just fear he might...
