Ive had mine going for about 5 months or longer and my sand bed is still getting that brown stuff on the top since my snails have died off but fish are fine.

I am thinking about getting a flame fish myself and found they are good in a 30 gal or bigger tank.They do like to adventure through live rock so make sure you have plenty.

So we had a few margirita,turbo,and 1 chestnut snail in our 50gal fish only tank.They seemed fine but now they have all died but our zebra snails and 1 turbo snail.Our fish are seem to be fine.Has anyone else have this issue before?:thanks:

I was in the same boat as you were just a few months ago.We started with 2 clown fish.Then we added a Damsel but they seem kinda aggressive so i'd be careful with that breed of fish.Blue Hippo Tangs do well in the clown fish,Gobies..any peaceful tempered fish should be good.

From what i've heard you should only have a pair of clown fish in one tank..no more.And i dont know how you have 2 damel's in one tank..i had 2 java damel's and one of them actually picked on the other one until it was weak and about dead.

I think all the other advice has seemed to help you but I just wanted to say how pretty your fish are:~)

I thought getting all your levels low or at 0 is the goal..ammonia is bad for fish!

Is your 10gal a salt water? If so then you need to let the water cycle and wait for all the levels to be at 0 or low at least..i had to wait a month before all my levels were good.

I'm not too familiar with your addreviations..what is rodi?
