Now now no need to be snarky lol.
I haven't found anything online that says it'll have a negative effect so you should be good to go.
I'd suggest maybe photographing the corals before the treatment so you have a comparison to check for any issues.
Good luck!

I bought a Caribbean feather duster yesterday and placed it in the tank.
The guy at the lfs told me to slightly cover it's tube with sand and that'll be that.
I checked the tank this morning and the worm seems to have left the tube and moved to an area of higher flow.
From what I've read...
Or maybe the fact the tank is 9 days old and will be going through the start of a cycle?
You have to do a Partial Water Change to keep that ammonia as low as possible.
If it's currently at 1ppm a 50% change will not drop it into the "safe" limits.
2 50% changes over the corse of a few hours...
If your stock is low, why are you feeding so much?
You'd be better off looking for a fish that you truly want, not what you think you need.
I had this problem a while back and wasted some good money on a fish I really didn't need.
I just don't feel comfortable painting a tank that cost me over £1000 to assemble lol.
Black paper that has been laminated is my go-to backing.
It's quite cheap and can be made at home easily.
Or try feeding less?
Buying a fish to solve a problem you create is quite foolish.
They fish would depend on you over feeding the tank in order to thrive.
Why would you even purchase fish that would outgrow your tank if you didn't plan on upgrading?
I bought a synodotis euruptus knowing he would need a bigger tank once my 29 gal became too small.
He's now in a 50 gal while I'm searching for a 100 gal tank for him to stretch his fins out.
Poor...
Otos generally need an established tank as they need an ample food supply in order to survive, some people may even say that a 20gal won't be large enough to grow enough food for em.
Just look out for pinched stomachs and try to give em some algae wafers :)
Tank looks awesome btw!
You must have an extremely good thermo if it can accurate judge a rise in tank temp based off of feeding actions lol.
My temp fluctuates 0.1 - 0.8°c constantly.
You should never add an animal to battle an issue that can be remedied by your action or if it can be waited out.
Once it's gone you're still gonna have the snails but with nothing to feed them with.
