I got an in-tank (or in-sump) protein skimmer that came with suction cups and it just fit *almost* perfectly on the left side of the tank. I did have to trim the plastic hood a little to get it to fit. Once they get used to you they don't ink. I've been lucky so far, he hasn't inked at all...
