A buddy called me the other day, he was cleaning out a warehouse and he found all these crates with this cool coral skeletons that was wrapped in newspapers from the 70s that came from Australia. Do you think it's safe to add to a tank? They're cool looking...

Still on this skimmer thing, want to do an external set up to keep room for live rock and macro in the sump. Looked at the reef octopus but says metric plumbing, anyone have experience with this?
Anyone have a diagram of how to keep the skimmer out of the sump? Want to keep out of the sump because once in sump/ in stand and tanks moved against wall = problems for long term. Inside stand H = 33".. Plus would leave room for nice refuge in my sump tank! : )
Ok, trying to get the last few things together for this build. I want to start my wiring and plumbing but need my sump pump and skimmer. This skimmer thing is a hard choice to make. Any other Ideas on skimmers? I think I would like to keep it out of sump to keep room for live rock/ macro. 70...
I like it too, I was going to do the 93 but then I saw this, I like that its shallower and wont require as much light to get to the sand bed. It will bee easier to clean too.

Well that might work out as i could house different species in different areas. I really want the light. I saw one at a lfs combined with eco's pumps and its a pretty sweet setup.
