Hey all, I'm looking to buy some glut/metrecide but I'm confused about which one I should get. I was looking on amazon and one of the reviews said to avoid the 28 for aquarium use cause it contains soap, is this true? Anyone have recommendations where to shop for this?

Thank you for your response. I have cleaned it out, many times. I've used compressed air to blow out anything in the motor assembly as well. The way the motor has worked for me since I got it is it won't start at all if there is no water in it so plugging it in a few times won't do anything.

The fish stores around me have RO water. I'd recommend taking in a water sample and have them check yours and their ph levels. Generally though, if you acclimate the fish slowly they will get used to the ph change and be fine. My guess though is that the fish store is using local tap water too...
