    New blue dot stingray

Nah. I have it divided. 3/4 is sea sand and the remainder is crushed coral. He was just really active in the video. Almost like he was showing off. He routinely lays down and buries himself.

    New blue dot stingray

It's large enough for now (100 gall). The ray is still an infant and is small. I dont plan to keep him in this tank for long as I am working in a much larger build.

    New blue dot stingray

I recently purchased a blue dot from my lfs. He is doing amazing in his new home. He is friendly towards the few other fish he is housed with and has been very mobile and curious. The only issue I'm having is getting him to eat. He just doesn't seem interested. I've tried smashed Rosies, ghost...

Just got Made some DIY moonlighting on the cheap.

Mine was incredible easy to get. I ordered a $20 string on led lights from eBay. They have a sticky backing. You just peel and stick. I applied them directly to my current light hood.

    Question about sand substrate.

I went to Petco and bought sand for my aquarium. It is packaged real ocean sand. The bag said it was pre-cleaned and cycled but when I put it in my tank it instantly clouded up heavily. I turned off my filter and powerhead to help it settle and it helped a little but not much. Anyone have any...

    Got ich!

Try to stay away from chemicals if possible! I've had two cases of ich in my fish keeping experience. I've tried the heat and I've tried chems. The heat worked better and much faster than the chemicals. I lost less fish with heat. Good luck. I know how awful it is.
