Fish can get stabilized to pH without much concern, mine is over 8 and no fish i had got affected by it, but Angelfish a little bit.

I gotta kinda confused reading but i dont think you will go through a cycle at all. Just move everything including water and gravel from the old tank if you can and it will be fine. Lower the feeding too if you want 110% success.

i did acclimation for around 15 min, both waters seemed to be in the same temperature. All my parameters are fine, in fact my ph has always been high, around or above 8 and the fish was like that coming over to my house too, the old owner said it was jumping out of the bucket. thanks
