So I just dirted my tank today, I capped it and filled it up with water, the water was already funky but over time it just keeps getting darker. I understand that it is releasing its tannins, but how many water changes do you think it will take to go back to normal?

I picked up a couple Gouramii the other day, one is pink and one is blue. The blue one is very lively while the pink just looks to sulk around the tank, does this sound right?
