Cool there is a cortez ray an my lfs right now. How much lr do you have? If you have to much it will end up bashing his head against the rock and dying ar least thats what my lfs said. They also said they are hardy and easy to care for in the right conditions.

Is it fw ro water? If it is buffer it with liquid reactor by kent that will help alot!!

Yes you some times wake up with a fish with a ripped fin but it usually heals in a day. They are the meanest shrimp besides a mantis and can't live with any other shrimp. They also will eat pods and pretend to be a cleaner shrimp and just poke at the fish with their claws no major damage though...

I have a small tassle filefish my refugium and the lights are on 24/7 is that a problem, will it bother him?

How big is the one at your lfs. I wanted a large one so mine was a special order and it came in the size of a quarter. I was in San antonio a week ago and there was one there 7 inches long but a guy from the border already bought it :(

I just bought a tassle file fish from my lfs and it is 1 inch and half long, we are putting him in our refugium. How long will it take to get large enough for our show tank and hold it self to a 7 inch clown trigger?

How do you tell if a hermit is pregnant? Are the eggs visible?

never heard of biting off tails but some will pick at your inverts it just a matter of finding one that wont mine doesnt pick at inverts

golden morays are cool too and they are reef safe! Very rare and pricy though

what about a sharpnosed puffer those have a nice personality and are very cute :D

sorry to hear that weigh it down or lock it snowflake eels are large eels so make sure you cant open it from the inside with your arm if you get another
