So, one powerhead turns on while the other turns off and each one runs from 2-15 minutes? Will it wear out your powerheads having them turn on and off repeatedly throughout the day? I hope not cause I just ordered one.

Let's say my aquarium has a specific gravity of 1.023, and I do a water change. Let's say I drain 5 gallons of water out of my tank. When I go to add that water back, would I make 5 gallons of saltwater that measured 1.023 and then add it, or would the replacement water have to be a lower salinity?

Well that works out great for me, because even though I don't have the reciept for the filter, I can still get store credit for it. Then I can use all that money to get my sand, salt, test kits and even some fish food.
