I have been using tap water for water changes in my tank, but these diatoms are geting crazy. I can't afford an ro/di ubnit at the moment. I want to know if i buy distilled water at the grocery store will it work? The three fsh stores near me don't sell water. What do u think i should do?

I just started a tank and added my salt and aragonite sand.I was goin to order some LR from LR.com. the Gulf rock to be exact. Is it too soon to put it in the tank? Will i kill the inverts that are on/in the rocks? Should I just wait until my tank is done cycling?
