Have a 29 gallon cube with 25lbs of lr. It has 2 ocellaris clowns, a shark nose goby, 5 smaller snails, a turbo, one emerald crab and 5 red leg hermits. I also have one zoanthid. Everyone seems to be healthy and happy. Can I add more fish? What are suggestions for relatively easy to care...

Well, I got it out and put it in the qt tank. It appeared to be living in the zoanthid.

No refugium, but I have a qt tank that I could pop it in. I probably would have done that if I could have gotten to it quick enough. After I snapped the picture, it disappeared. I'll search for it again when I get home.

Can't be bad, can it? I've never heard of a snail that wasn't reef safe. I could be totally wrong about that, though.

I guess I might have to accept that the clowns were to blame, but I have a hard time believing it. They never seemed aggressive and I spend a lot of time watching tank. Could she have been damaged by the red leg hermits or the one emerald crab? The damage seemed to get worse during the night...

I hope she makes it, too. I posted a sick fish thread to see if anyone has any advice.

I'll keep an eye out for aggression, but someone is awake in our house almost all the time and the tank is in our living room, so I think we would have noticed. The three fish swim peacefully together, often in the same area, with no issues. The clowns do seem to have a territory they hang out...

Really, I don't think aggression is the issue. The royal gramma spends her whole day out and about with no signs of agression from the clowns. They swim near each other often and don't nip at all. They do fine during feedings, too. I'm hoping her fins heal up, so she looks pretty again, but...

Here are a couple shots of the Royal Gramma, one at the beginning and one from today where you can see how ragged he has gotten. The only thing I can imagine is that he's getting ripped up going in and out of the rocks.

Keep your receipt and the proof of purchase and you can return them to the company if they don't sprout. They honor their guarantee. I bought a pack of 4 and only 1 sprouted. I returned them and they sent me 11 more. 9 of those have sprouted :). Here are just a few of them.

I have swords and a pleco and the only issue I had was he kept hiding behind them when they were tiny and he killed one overtime by beating it up. Since then, the swords have matured and grown and I added a hidey hole for the pleco. No issues for a long time and he has never eaten them at all.
