I was wondering how often I need to replace my Chemi-Pure in my filter? I just picked up another unit of it because I feel like I haven't replaced mine in awhile. Just thought I'd ask on here to see what a good time frame was. I attached a picture for those who don't use the product. Thanks, Kyle

Well I showed the pictures to the owner of lfs who always helps me. He thinks she probably bumped into a rock when the lights came on the first time or something and it cut her mouth. She ate pretty well today as well. He said to give it time and it should heal fine.

Here is my clown this morning.. Still there and she stays in the same general area of the tank. I am heading to my lfs now to get some water to make a change.

Ok I understand. Should I change more of my water more frequently until it clears up to keep the water ideal?

Just read your link you provided, thank you. That states that I basically have to let it run it's course and it may take a few weeks. The only thin that is still concerning is if that growth is preventing her from eating... Any tips?

Here is a picture of my new clownfish. I added this with another clown that was already paired together. Looks like something is growing on her lip and she isn't swimming around and looking very healthy today. Any help would be appreciated. Yes the fish has a tail.. Looks blurry in the picture...

Looks nice. My only concern is how close it is to the side glass. I once had mine too close and I could never clean that side with a magnet or brush. Just my 2 cents! Nice tank and good luck!

The first thing I would do is trade the damsel in. They may look nice and are fun to watch, but my history with damsels isn't great. They get very aggressive and territorial. I have a 28g so I'm not sure what to suggest for your other questions!

I never had luck catching mine but once I added my Philippines Neon Dotty Back, he apparently ate them all.. But now today I sold him back to the store for credit because you grew and became very mean. Nice looking tank!

I had to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in and now it's working properly. I kept checking it and nothing was clogging it or broken. I have never taken it apart but it seems to be creating flow now. Thanks guys.

I seem to be having an issue with my power head.. It seems to be sucking water in and I can only feel water being blown out the sides a little.. Any clue or does that mean it needs to be cleaned? First time having a powerhead..

Well my tank is much much better so that could be the case. But I still believe that after a few days or a week, the sand starts to get a dirty layer on top and I get pink circles on the glass. The snails seem to die quick.. Not sure. They smell awful too.

I used 2 Damsels to cycle my 28 Gallon and really regret it. After the cycle was over I added other fish and the Damsels were very aggressive and I had to sell them back and it took me about 2 hours to catch them lol nice tank!

Well my tank is doing great now. Everything is testing out perfect and the sand is looking great. I am keeping up with my water changes so this hopefully never comes back. Also, today I added a Small Half-Black Angelfish. When I get a good picture, I'll post it! So far it's doing great.
