I raised the temp. The fish looked stressed out when I was using the tablets. Today the ones that haven't died we're behaving like normal.

Yeah, I'm glad I don't have any. I'm trying to kill this Ick quickly and effectively. Hopefully this stuff works because the tablets aren't doing anything.

Has anyone on here used Copper Safe to treat Ick or any other disease outbreak in their tank? If so, how effective is it as opposed to those useless dissolving tablets?

The tank size wasn't the problem as I only had two other schools in there. One school of danios and one school of black stripe tetras. I also have a rope fis and a pictus cat (now deceased).

I'm using API freshwater ammonia and PH test kit. My PH is at 7.0 and I'll have to recheck my ammonia levels when I get home later. Last time I checked, the ammonia was 0.0-0.2 range.

I have excellent filtration 2 Marineland 330's with bio wheels and excellent oxygenation with one huge airstrip and a separate large airstone. I raised the temp to 82 degrees when I first started treatment. All of my ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels were normal.

Doing a Frontosa setup, how many teaspoons of cichlid salt per gallon in a 46 gallon tank?

Thanks for all the feeding tips guys. This really is a big help. I'll pick up some PVC pipe tomorrow at the hardware store. I don't see my other fish allowing this little guy to eat. They're just too greedy. I'll try stuffing the pipe with shrimp pellets and blood worms. I hear beef heart...

I honestly don't think you're overstocked in that 75 gallon tank. You've got good filtration going and room for them to swim. I have two penguin 350's on a 55 gallon and swear by those filters. I'm not sure if you can or can't add those extra fish because of their temperament etc. but...
