Sounds good. The cyano I was able to get under control fairly easy. Like you said the hair algae is a whole nother story.

I haven't had any problems with my YWG and stary blenny. I'm not sure how similar temperments the stary and lawn mower blenny have. I would definitely recommend the goby/pistol shrimp combo if possible. If not you cant go wrong with the cleaner shrimp either.

I made a wood canopy/hood for aquarium that I hung my lights from. I attached small chain links to the four mounting attachments on the lights and sunk 4 screw in hooks into the canopy. The chain links allow me to adjust the hight to my liking.
