Well my tank is already established. It was staying at the perfect temperature all summer but now that it's cooling down I need it. This is what I have, I can't tell how to turn it on or off, or set it to a specific temperature.

Thanks. I asked the LFS guy and he said it sounded like harmless copepods. After scrubbing the sides it's a day later and I don't see them anymore. I don't have any corals just a few button polyps on LR .What is SPS, I googled it and all that came up was small penis syndrome, lol.

I'm not sure what reading it is i'll test it again. I remember years ago testing it and not even seeing it on the color chart it was so high. PH chemicals wont even touch it. THe water is extremely hard well water.

This morning I found a good sized crab on my indo. A few minutes ago I found this worm looking things on it. Can someone ID the worm thing, and are the crab or worm dangerous and need to be taken out?
