Cool thanks! I will not have a problem cleaning the bottle as it's not stuck to the walls. It's just floating in chunks. I will clean it and add the excel and see what happens. Thanks again.

Has anyone experienced some kind of strange growth in the TE bottle? Is it still ok to put in the tank? Can this growth be prevented? Thanks

It will not hurt the plants. It will kill good and bad bacteria but only in water going through the light. It will not kill the good bacteria in your filter media and any other solid subject in your tank.

Yeap! Those move slow when they hatch.

What kind of snails are they? I had mystery snails hatch and they moved very slow for the 1st day or so. If they did not reach the water yet, make sure there is enough humidity in the tank. I partially covered to create condesation.

I didn't even look at the EI because of the frequent water changes. I am not home all the time and the tank is 100g

Is EI method the one that requires frequent water changes? Also are these ferts are dozed in a liquid form correct? So they are in the water column absorbed by plants through the leaves correct?

Yes I would start there. It's easier to I crease light if plants don't look good than getting rid of algae.

Cool! Also started with DIY tabs but I am using size 0, all they had at the vitamin shoppe, and Dynamite. I placed 24 of these in my 80 gallon tank and so far everything looks ok, no spikes in ammonia either.

Too much light IMO, I can see algae in your future!
