How do fish get ick? I haven't gotten any new fish or plants or snails nothing. So I don't understand how my black moor has white fungus looking stuff on the tips of his tail and on his poop shoot.

How cold is too cold for goldfish and snails? 1 black moore, 1 red cap orander (sp), 1 goldfish, 1 apple snail, 1 mystery snail, and 2 unknown snails. The water temp now is 65.

Well I did like u said tamtam. Man that snail smelled so bad!!! It was still hard to pull it out tho some was still stuck in there. Oooowee it was so gross! I'm hoping it will dry up and flake off so I can put it back in there. I don't know how ppl eat that but yeah to each his own! Many Thanks!

Will my goldfish eat my dead mystery snail? The black moor seems to nip at it. Is it ok to leave in there? I want the shell, will he come out easily? And will the other snails eat him?

I have a dead one also. Due to getting half way sucked into the filter tube twice. U think he had learned to stay away from it. But my question is can I leave it in the tank? My black moor seems to be trying to eat it. Is this ok? Sorry I can't help with the orginal question! And I've had mine...
