HI, my nano tank has been cycling for nearly two weeks, all my levels are fine, and water is clear, I was planning to add my first fish at the end of the week, but was also thinking of adding about 8kg of live rock into my nano, will this affect the cycling process ? Or will I still be able to...

All that I've come across is the idea to quarantine the rock, which isn't a bad idea, as long as you have the time

Lol, I have worries sometimes that if I ever get live rock from the LFS I'll get hitchhikers, and there might be a mantis shrimp hiding in the rock ?

The jellyfish I was looking at was called a moon jelly, they can tolerate a wide range of temperatures apparently.

I heard its more beneficial, but I'm still puzzled on how they actually can get stuck in the corner of a tank lol

I've seen a couple of vids with some people having jellyfishes with their fish... I was wondering, are they easy to keep, is there anyone who have a jellyfish who I can talk to? And does anybody have links or info?

My water has been pre-cycling for about 2weeks now, I've got the salinity right, and cloudiness has gone. I bought a ph inaction test, but when I opened it up the colour paler only went up to 7.6. So when I tested water it showed 7.6.. Do I have to add ph buffer before i add my LR? Or can I do...

I'm not sure. If it isn't salt what could it be. There was deffo no dirt from before. If it helps, the salt I use was tetra marine.

I I've recently mixed some salt into my tank, and just noticed there's a small pile of salt on the bottom of my tank, but the salt has turned from white, from when I put it in, to a dark brown/black. What shud I do with it ? Shall I siphon it out or shall I swish it about till it dissolves ?
