You may want the largest HOB fuge you can fit. One gallon seems small.

Thanks. I have a trumpet coral growing much faster than some of my zoas. I started using Reef Bugs by Marc Weiss Interprises this week to feed my corals along with Phytofeast. I hope this helps.

Some stuff is expensive; however, compare some of their small zoa frags to other website. Aquasd has nice stuff for only $10 ea frag.

Chaeto rocks. One guy from aquasd.com said it works just as good as mangroves for removing nitrates.

Mangroves were difficult for me & too much work. Microalgae works well. I like a DSB.

I used medium grain aragonite for my DSB in my refuge. It works well.

Consider using shot glasses with some thin plastic mesh over it if you do not want to lose them. The mesh can be found from the fabric store. I plan to glue 2-3 upside down bottle caps onto a strip of plastic and put the netting over the soft coral frags.
