    Sick clown, weak swimming funny

I checked out all of those things, but like I said before, I can't see any other symptoms. Now that he's in the hospital tank he seems to be swimming just fine. My bf thinks that may just be because he's scared nd trying harder. But I wonder if maybe we just had too much current in the big...

    Sick clown, weak swimming funny

Flase perc clown in our community tank suddenly stopped hanging out in his sea shell with his buddy and started swimming in the corner near the top of the tank by himself. Then his swimming started to deteriorate and it appeared to be harder and harder work for him to stay upright while he was...

Very sick angelfish - mystery illness

The tank has been up and running for more about 18 years and this is the first time I've had an amonia reading. I can only assume it is caused by the amount of medications put into the tank and the loss of the good bacteria in the filter. We'll do another pwc today and we are removing the...

Very sick angelfish - mystery illness

It's been awhile since I've been on the forum. Glad to see you guys are still going strong. I have a 55 gal planted tank with now 6 angels, a pleco and a clown loach. About two months ago one fish got sick. It was eating, but could not retain weight. Over the course of several weeks the...

    Anna's 90 gal (a work in progress)

Well, we lost the maroon clown, he would leave the false perc alone, so we returned him to the pet store. The flame scallop died about 3 weeks after we got it. We've added 45 pounds of live rock, three peppermint shrimp, a bangaii cardinalfish, a pygmy angel, another false perc and a carpet...

    Anna's 90 gal (a work in progress)

Our pump is creating a proliferation of tiny air bubbles. If anyone could tell me what is causing this, or how to fix it, I would love to know. It makes the whole tank look cloudy. If we turn the pump off for about 4 minutes, the water completely clears up. Anyone had any experience with that?

    Anna's 90 gal (a work in progress)

We have added some more hermit crabs, a yellow tang and a maroon clown that we hope will host in our anemone.

    Anemone

My bf came home with this anemone today. Can anyone confirm if it is a long tentacle anemone or a sebae? I can't find any pics that look anything like it on the web. Its buried itself now, but the foot is a bright pinkish color, the tentacles are a bluish/purplish/green with green pointed...

    Anna's 90 gal (a work in progress)

We're making progress. We added 8 lbs of LR, 9 snails/hermits, 1 blue star, 1 long tentacle anemone and a flame scallop (not all at once of course). Sorry about the flash in the pic.

    chocolate chip star

They are not reef safe and will get quite large. I have one, but he has just been added to our larger tank. He hasn't caused any damage to anything yet, but if he does we will have to get rid of him. From what I understand they will eat corals, etc.
