We started setting up this tank in February. Its been slow going. We still need LOTS more LR. We plan to add about 20 lbs/month. The first pic is after our first 40 lbs of LR and 4 damsels were added.

The second pic is after we added the LR, clown and tang from our existing tiny 10 gal tank. The tang looks so happy now! She growing already.

Woops, got the pics backwards. But, you get the idea. One more pic of our tang and clownfish. They are best buddies. They "live" in conch shells that are positioned right next to each other. They are always together. When I do a water change, anytime I get near the tang's shell, the clownfish comes out to attack my hand. Strange behavior for fish of different species, but we like it that they have so much personality.

We're making progress. We added 8 lbs of LR, 9 snails/hermits, 1 blue star, 1 long tentacle anemone and a flame scallop (not all at once of course). Sorry about the flash in the pic.

We have added some more hermit crabs, a yellow tang and a maroon clown that we hope will host in our anemone.

Our pump is creating a proliferation of tiny air bubbles. If anyone could tell me what is causing this, or how to fix it, I would love to know. It makes the whole tank look cloudy. If we turn the pump off for about 4 minutes, the water completely clears up. Anyone had any experience with that?

Well, we lost the maroon clown, he would leave the false perc alone, so we returned him to the pet store. The flame scallop died about 3 weeks after we got it. We've added 45 pounds of live rock, three peppermint shrimp, a bangaii cardinalfish, a pygmy angel, another false perc and a carpet anemone.

Here's what it looks like now:
