let me see..... 1 needlenose fish/gar, 1 tsn,and a 1 hijueta fish/gar for sure. maybe a pacu, a tire track and spiny eel, and a senegalus bichir if they'll eat em.

what about breeding killies? i went out to buy some feeder guppies and they practicly gave me newborn fish... but anyway i think they gave me some sort of baby killies. maybe they gave me some endlers ,i don't know. too young to tell. once they're grown i'll know for sure. info on breeding...

will SA puffers pick on tankmates like most other puffers? i've heard that dwarf puffers are mini-floating spawns of saten,is this true? can dwarf puffers be kept with SAs? i'm guessing not since most puffers hate different kinds of puffers in the same tank.

what are some good tankmates for a SA puffer in a 10 or 15 gal. SA puffers are brackish right?

looks like i'm gonna have to go with the SA puffer if any due to the Fahaka puffer needs such a large aquarium.

i was thinking of a Marineland Stealth 200 heater and maybe a penguin 125 or 170-(has bio-wheel). i should have known about the undergravel filter, after all it is an UNDERGRAVEL filter. :D

it is o.k. if you just top off the water but it needs to be treated first,but i would just wait to do it when you do your water change(s)

form what i've heard people have housed piranhas and oscars together successfully.i may be wrong.if you can get a bigger tank and put some piranhas in with him, if he isn't too big to eat them.otherwise i advise no more fish for your current tank.

way too many fish for such a tank, not to mention you got a butload at once. your lucky that you have a 50 gal filter in there or you would be feeling the effects of nitrates,nitrites,ammonia, pH, dH, and other critical factors. get rid of about 75% of the fish you have immediately if you want...

change up your ph and get some colorful discus. if you don't want discus and you want color, get some blue rams. a hex is also great for angels.then just mix and match some cool lookin' plecos or loaches that you can handle in a 40. i don't know why you would want to put cardinal or neon tetras...
