    +1 agree on that one!

    Apistos

What dragon fish specifically? A quick google search of "dragon fish" came up with several suggested species that will, most likely, not be compatible as they are deep sea or brackish fish. Besides, they all looked big and mean enough to gobble up any unsuspecting dwarf cichlid! :D

    Question about Neon Tetras

Well my angel is still only about the size of a half dollar, maybe a little bigger, so that won't happen for a while.

    Is this a good tank?

I actually got this same tank for my friend or xmas hahaha. I had a similar nano, and the only differences you will see from brand to brand besides the price is the quality of the hardware that comes with it. They sell small heaters for bettas at petsmart for $11.99 I believe; that's what I did...

    Parrot fish question

Also, does he have any company? Sometimes quick little fish spook others, especially new additions.

    Angelfish acting funny

Mine was, too, everyone else was active and vibrant. Maybe do little 10% pwc every day for a week? Maybe slowing the current from the filter with filter sponge or a DIY plastic current diffuser will help calm the waters and help it recuperate faster?

    Angelfish acting funny

I had an angel that showed the same symptoms. I woke up one morning to her floating upside down. I never did figure out what happened :( I hope you do in time!!!

    Help with aquarium changeover

Just a bump, and a question for those of you out there: is there any kind of plant substrate from a home and garden center that would be safe for an aquarium? I'm guessing anything without fertilizers or chemicals added; but what types? They just opened a Country Max right down the road from my...

    ID help please

He's super cute! Though I have no idea. Maybe call the lfs an ask what else they were keeping in the tank? This way you can deduce what it could be a little more easily. I love the pattern!

    First blue ram :)

Definitely agree. Also his anal fins have that black strip, which is indicative of a male, as well as the round shape of his forehead. Yay! Congratulations, it's a boy!! Hahaha

    Scottyhorse's 25 Gallon Community Build

Haha! I spent $15/20 on all of mine! The gold one I had was $25! But I got them from a local pet store because my petsmart doesn't carry GBRs

Want a betta at work... lowest tech setup possible?

I use a siphon/vacuum once a week during water changes. I also have a filter with the space for two filter pads, so I have very little trouble replacing one when I need to, as there is always a full established colony to seed the new one. So that helps. But I dont think they make those for nano...

    Parrot fish question

Just wait till it comes out on its own. Fish need time to adjust, and removing the log will take away a safe spot and make it feel even less secure, which will cause stress and in the long run it could develop some stress-induced diseases. He'll come out soon, especially when he starts...

    Two Guppies in Shock?

Weird! I'm for sure at a loss. Sorry I can't be of more help!

    Two Guppies in Shock?

Maybe the pressure isn't high enough to get the air all the way to the bottom of your tank. Also, is there water in the tubing? How old is your air pump? Also, I'm glad to hear that your ph hasn't fluctuated too much, hopefully you can sort it out. I'm plum out of ideas now :(

    Two Guppies in Shock?

Okay I checked on it, your ph is in optimal range. It's below 6 that it becomes difficult for them. It's remained at a stable ph? Hasn't fluctuated at all?
