If you are planning on having trout in this tank here are a few tips:
•lots of oxygen/dissolved oxygen
•do not take them from the wild get them from a fish hatchery, because the trout will not eat if there wild unless you have a supply of their natural food.

3 weeks sounds normal for holding eggs. It could that the eggs have not been fertilized, and in that case she will just spit them out after about a month.
There are quite a few cichlids that can be kept with community fish. If your fish are only 2.5 in. Rams, and kribs will do fine, but not really sure what your looking for.

Well rams are awesome to keep in a community tank, because they are peaceful, and beautiful. Another option is an angle fish which is a type of cichlid. Other than that most cichlids would be to aggressive for your current tank.
I have a guppy tank as well, and they breed about once every month. If you leave in the tank they will most Likely get eaten. Or can raise the fry to keep or sell.

So I a few questions as I am new to saltwater. One, I don't want corals just fish to start and maybe some live rock, so i was wondering what fish would be happy in a 30 gallon? Two, what kind lighting will I to kind of lighting would I need to keep the live rock?
