I have had this coral for several months and it's growing like crazy. Last night I reaquascaped and added an extra power head in back of tank. The montipora remained in same spot only difference is the flow. Woke up this morning and several white spots on my monti. Any suggestion? To much flow?

Ok so I had a complete tank wipe out about a week ago. I am never going to make the mistake of not having a QT again. I need some help setting one up. Do i need to cycle it just like my DT? What all should be in it (sand,LR) or nothing? Thank you, Matt

So I have my tank filled with live rock, live sand, and water. I added a raw shrimp to the tank to start off my cycle. My ammonia went to 1 but remained there for the last couple days, no increased no decrease. Am I on the right track?

If I am going to use live sand and live rock do I have to get my water cycled first and up to temp? Or do I just put in my live sand and live rock then add my water and get everything running. I feel if my water is not cycled and up to temp the good bacteria I paided for well die off?:thanks:
