Interesting thank you, I used the demel to separate them and it worked great. When the one I have gets bigger I might be willing to risk cutting one in half, but for now two is fine. If you don't mine me asking purple polyp how much did you pay for it?

If i was to go the shrimp and goby route, can i just feed the goby flake food and the shrimp a wafer now and then?

My friends had him in the tank for about 5-6 months, and the guy at the store said he would be ok by himself. I'm more concerned about the soft tree coral, I agree repositioning is a good idea.
