Any interest in a goldfish social group?

I would certainly join. It seems like there is a ton of info to be had about fish in general, but goldfish seem to be a certain breed requiring a little different care than the tropical fish most folks are talking about. Thanks for the idea.

    Can I get more fish?

Otos love that brown algae, they don't add much to your bioload, and they are pretty fun to watch. I think the thing your tank needs is one or two larger fish to focus on. The idea of a Ram pair is pretty great IMO.

I am certainly not experienced like Rivercats, but a school of Otos is really fun to watch and they absolutely destroy algae.

    API testing kit Nitrite question

The aggression was occurring in a 37G with just two fancies including the aggressor, no other fish in a cycled tank with clean water. Both are juvenile and about 2.5". It was unusual by all accounts. Now the aggressive one is solo in a 10G. I have a Top Fin 30 HOB filter on there, so...

    API testing kit Nitrite question

I have two tanks. The tank in question is a 10G freshwater with one 2.5" fancy goldfish as its only inhabitant. The fish is aggressive towards my others so he can't join them in my larger tank. The 10G isn't fully cycled, although it does show 0 Ammonia and some Nitrate presence. My problem...

Goldfish And Tropical Fish In Same Tank

How large is your tank? If the tank is big enough it can probably support anything.
