I use RO water and had a lawnmower, he lasted about 2 weeks and did not eat any algae that I could tell. Checked and cannot detect any phosphates. I even tried a phosphate sponge, but same results.

I noticed a brownish spot on my LNB yesterday and today it is a little more pronounced. Any idea of what it may be and what can I do for it? The fish finds refuge in the rockwork and only comes out when he thinks I am going to feed the tank. I will attach an image for you to see. TIA

That is the exact unit I bought for my 90gal. I would recommend it. It is pretty easy to install. I have about 15 gal jugs laying around that I fill up to keep water on hand. My experience is that this unit takes about 2 hours to fill the tank and the tank will hold just less than 3 gals at a...

I already have 2 perc clowns, 1 Flame Angel and Longnose Butterfly in a 90gal. Looking to add a Yellow Tang and 1 other fish. I would like to have something Blue in color. Any suggestions???

Thanks for the response I have never heard of HUFA, any brands you would recomend? Tank mates are pretty docile, LN butterfly and 2 perc clowns When you say large water changes you mean 30%, 40%, 50%??
