    Brown slime on pagoda

I've had this coral about three weeks in my tank and other areas where brown slime has cleared up but this won't seem to. And another spot hasn't cleared up either. It varies from brown to black and a polyp has never come out of either spot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Coral ID

I'm pretty sure what two of them are but I'm unsure if the one is a turbinaria. (pagoda coral) Regardless if I think I'm right about the other two, I'd appreciate any input. I'd rather know I'm wrong and care for these the way they should be than take care blindly. Thank you for any help. Daniel

    Refugium and protein skimmer question

So I just bought an aqueon proflex model 2 sump and am turning the middle section into a refugium. A few questions. 1. A) How do the Copepods not get killed by the return pump on the way back to the dt, or do they? B) Do I have to manually transport them by exchanging LR? 2. Regarding a...

    Id type of anemone crab

I am usually getting the same picture on google, but mine is gray and I'm guessing a juvenile. Barely owner a quarter inch in size. Maybe they change colors as they mature. He's got the little "fans" that he extends to gather food, so I'm pretty sure he's an anemone crab. Just curious on the...

    Crab id

Been trying to snap a pic of him/her for months. Finally it sneaks out for a peek almost fully. Harmful or safe? It's has the fur of its legs like an emerald crab

    vibrant yellow coral?

Dunno what this is, but it's not moved so I'm guessing a sps, but I'm not entirely sure. This the the first time I've seen raised little spikes; normally when I check it out it looks very...geometric. I know odd description but I'll but up a picture of that when the little spikes go down. Any...

    Hydnophora or hydrophria coral?

I've been told it's both.; however I want to know which, so I can care for it correctly and cuz I think one can be bad for other corals. Since I've gotten it with a piece of live rock, the coral has grown about a centimeter all around. Can anyone definitively identify this guy?

    A pistol shrimp?

Sorry for only getting a picture of his head, but that's all will come out. Does this look like a pistol shrimp?

    Mojano? And other things? Cilicking...

I've recently heard clicking in my tank. I know there is likely a mantis in my tank, but when I took the first piece of coral out and turned it around there were a couple new things. I think the first pic is a mojano. But I've got no idea on the other two. On the last two pic the organism has...

It reminds me of a sticky hams but only with two digits.

Anyone know what this is? This now reminds me of those sticky hands you'd throw on a wall. I've seen it come out of a hole in the coral and grab food, but I came home tonight and it was so outstretched it reached at least 6" and was eating algae off the glass. Any ideas what it is?

    Chiton?

I thought I was done finding mysterious hitchhikers in my tanks, but lo and behold something new. I saw someone mention a chiton to someone else, could this be one of those?

    Nudi ID

I seem to keep finding new ones all the time. He seems to just feed on algae.

Look like fake dog doo, but what are they

They are stationary and shoot out a slime every once in awhile. I am sure they aren't harmful, but just curious.

    A few things to identify

I have four things I would like to identify. One looks like algae, but assure you it's some sort of nudibranchs, as I've seen it move, eat, and poop. He's the green thing in the centre of the first pic. Another is I'm sure another nudi, (blue with orange tips.) The last two are coral. Thanks...
