co worker just gave me about 7 pounds of live rock with coralline growth on it! He's the man LOL. Feeling really lucky Should I have any concerns putting this rock straight into my tank? It came from a fully established tank going on about 3-4 years now. Thanks in advance.

Never owned a 10... It's possible... He will own a area near the rock almost instantly. However, with my fish, it works. All tanks are uniquely the same IMO. Now he patrols his area when he wakes and before bed but my other fish swim near and in his area without problems. I have a clown, canary...

What about azure damsel? It gets along with my clown fish just fine. They even bump heads during feeding time lol but it does not fee aggressive.

Liveaquaria has a 50 gallon minimum. Good luck! My wrasse enjoys the DSB, it sleeps in it and buries itself in it. Have fun! Many wrasse need a bigger tank... This little guy can grow up to 5 inches( iv'e read) but chances are it will be 3"(perfect) . Lol

I have a banana wrasse also known as yellow coris wrasse and even as a canary wrasse. There are plenty of other names for it too lol. Fire gobies and azure damsel( damsel have a bad name) but i love mine... These three fish are resilient and have beautiful colors and interesting to watch. Have fun

I am reading about how one slight difference in your tank can mean that... What worked for him or her may not work for you. Study your tank, be open minded and ask plenty however weigh your options and don't be afraid to go against the grain. IMO :)

Betas look cool but it appears to me at least that they just stay still often. I don't want much two lil guys swimming around. I understand that they tetras are better in schools but i wish i could keep two and maybe throw a few lil pieces of drift wood in there hehe. Anywho thanks again

Hi, saw some cool neon tetras at the LFS a few weeks back. Someone left a throwout or keep neat little two gallon tank by our mailroom. Wanted to know how many tetras can i keep? 2,3,4? Thanks! Came with little rocks light and filter love it!

This place is amazing but i dont think it's healthy to limit yourself to one community. There are various other apps and forums. Mr. Saltwaterfishtank on youtube has some of the most amazing videos with great insight.

Agreed 100 percent. These are really all my resources. This book was my first purchase when i decided to join the hobby. However, sniper is on point. All this information and then some is easily found in this forum and from using my phone. I feel this book is great for beginners imo
