    Teen aquarists

It ended in May- but my dad has had business trips so we haven't had much chance to talk about it. I had all A's at the end of the year.

    Teen aquarists

^^^^ Yeah, I'm really excited because my dad said if I had good grades at the end of the year then maybe. Needless to say my C in science turned into an A within the next week...

    Ideas for a 90-120g tank

I would make it an angelfish tank with a couple of "large-ish" schooling fish.

    White Cloud Minnow Biotope

I don't know about the "biotope" really, but you might want to add a mini circulating pump to simulate the river feel. I'd say a sandy bottom with rocks scattered around and maybe a piece of drift wood that will resemble tree roots of something.

    Unexpected 70g

+1 on cichlids! On a tank, that big, you can't just have your run of the mill community tank.

New 46 Gallon Bow Front need ideas

Not sure if it's your thing, but you could make a pretty sweet paludarium with that tank.

    55 gallon tank stock ideas

You should do angels- 2 pairs would be good, or if they are unpaired just four would still be good. I say add a GIGANTIC school of cories to the bottom.

    New tank fish ideas..

The first fish that come to mind are angels, gouramis, SA cichlids, and African cichlids.

Brian's 2.11g Rimless Pico Cube (AquaTop)

I might not even be getting one- I'm working out a fish tank deal with my parents at the moment. If I start it I'll definitely let you know!

Brian's 2.11g Rimless Pico Cube (AquaTop)

Great looking tank! I can't wait to see it when it fills in! Did you order yours online? If so, would you mind giving me a link, because I couldn't find it on the aquatop website, amazon or ebay. Thanks!

Tankmate ideas for 55 gal. Angelfish tank

I would say cardinal tetras if you want the schooling fish, and for the bottom part of the tank I would do julii cories and a pair of rams.

    5.5 betta build

So my betta passed away a few days ago.:( But I guess it's okay because he was really old and sick looking, plus it gives me the chance to rescape the tank for either a new betta OR a trio of guppies OR platies. This'll be my journal to post my progress and such.

    New 5g Betta Tank

I personally have never had sand before, but I have read a ton of journals where it's used and it seems like the trick is to pour the water in carefully and allow it a while to settle. From what I've read, you should also get a MTS to pop the gas bubbles in the sand. You won't regret putting...

    Could I move my betta

The only way to know if your betta will do good in the community is to put him in. Acclimate properly, than watch the tank like crazy. If the betta seems to be behaving aggressively, move him out. But if it works out he'll love all the space!

    Newbie...started off on wrong foot...again..

Sorry bout your ADF's death.:( But as others have said, teat your water a few times a day and do daily or even twice daily water changes. If you are okay with adding more products into the water, I would recommend TSS, it cycled my tank well and quickly, but you can do without it. And this...

    Fish in cycle

Do a partial water change every day to keep ammonia down (twice a day if necessary) and add some Tetra SafeSart. this product completely cycled my tank in a few days, so I would add it just to shorten the cycle and help prevent more stress on the fishies.

Thinking of starting a pond(s) need some advice!

From what I've reasearched in the past (I want to talk my parents into a small pond) 6 glodies should be fine in there. Glad that you're moving them out of the horse trough!
