The kenyi is the one that chased everyone and has killed 4 other fish. But I don't understand why it stays hid in a cave all the time now.

I lost a 3.5" Bumblebee in my 55 gal tank. Was beaten up bad. Now my 3.5" Kenyi is in a cave and won't come out for nothing. Will sneak some food here and there but that's it. This kenyi was the boss of the tank for months. Why is it "hiding" all of a sudden?

I have a 55 gallon with 4 Cichlids and two plecos. I recently noticed small green dots all over the glass. I tried to use my long handle scrub but it won't take it off the glass. What type of algae is it and how can I scrape it off?

Surprisingly my Oscar was the bully of the tank for a good while. Then boom! Down went the king.

My Kenyi killed my Oscar. The Oscar was the bigger of the two at 3".

How long are you leaving your light on? Sounds like its on too much.

I had the same problem. I double dosed with salt and raised the temp. After about a week, everything was back to normal. I then started lowering the temp and did 20% water change every 3 days to get my salt levels back to normal. I never had the rubbing happen again. Salt works wonders.

Would def rehome the Angel. I just rescued one and lost one from a ruptured tank at a friends house. Going to the local guy to do some trading for a demasoni or acei.

It is the only survivor from a rescue I did for a friend. Their tank had a major failure on the bottom seal. I saved one shark, an Angel and an eel. Had two other sharks die and an angel. I had to set up a small tank on less then an hours notice. Seems like I will have to rehome them or trade...

Could a Bala Shark be added to a AF cichlid tank? Shark is about 5 in and cichlids are 2-3in. I know shark will get to abt 14in overall.

You reduced light time. How much light are you still allowing? I recommend 6-7 hrs daily max. Have you added any aquarium salt?

Did you add any buffer?
