I bought this sps frag yesterday along with a pretty big torch coral and I was wondering what it was as I'm pretty new to sps.
Thanks ?

My tank is almost 6 weeks old and I've had diatoms for just over 4 weeks and I'm wondering how long they'll last for as they're pretty ugly to look at. I used live rock from another tank of mine so it cycled pretty much straight away and my ammonia and nitrite are at 0 and my nitrate is around...
The cleaner shrimp seems to be doing fantastic and my ammonia and nitrite are both 0 and I have low nitrates. I've kept ghost feeding as I can't get a fish until next week and there seems to be no ammonia whatsoever.
So my tank instantly cycled? Would that mean in theory I could start adding fish and other stuff now? I'll still wait a week or two so I don't take any risks

I set up my new tank a few days ago with live rock from my established old tank and some from a friends established tank. I've been ghost feeding since then and haven't seen any ammonia. When will this happen or will I not see a spike as my live rock is already established? When I transported...
Yeah I'll definitely be going for LEDs. Haven't put any thought into any other mods. Is a skimmer necessary for a 29g or is it just to save on maintenance?
Thanks for the advice, I think I'm gonna go for a pair of clowns, royal gramma, citron clown goby and a neon goby. Does that sound good as a final stocking list?
The tank should be here for next weekend. Do you reckon I'd need to buy new live sand? I know I'll need to some more live rock. How should I go about transferring the fish?

I'm upgrading from a 10g to a 29g in the near future so I will be moving my ocellaris clown and citron clown goby from the 10g to the new tank but I don't know what else to get. I'm thinking another clown and maybe a royal gramma/longnose hawkfish. Is the hawkfish reef safe and will it eat...
I think that the tank is only 24 gallons even though aqadvisor says differently. My question still stands but I definitely won't be trying 5 fish

I've had my 10 gallon tank for a few months now and I'm starting to realise that it's just too small. The water evaporates to quickly and I need to be on top of my salinity 24/7. I'm planning to upgrade to a 36 gallon tank in the near future and I'm looking for stocking advice. At the moment I...
