Ok. But wouldn't most of the water go back into the sump if I have the valve on the main return since the line going back to the sump would be the path of least resistance?
Ya but If I get a larger pump then needed and I want to divert some of the water from going back to the tank where should I have it go? Like what part of te sump should I have the extra water go
Ok I was just curious becouse I deploy a lot and my lady watches after my tanks for me. If I did get some probes would I be able to monitor those online through a app or something?

So the skimmer probably wouldn't fit in in the long narrow chamber closer to my feet? Or would it be ok to have the skimmer in the same chamber as the return pump?
Ok thank for all the great information. Back to the sump I have the dimensions of the chambers. On the left (I assume the return chamber where the pump will be is 11 5/8" front to back and 5 1/4" wide. Then there is the largest chamber I would think is the refugium 16 1/2" wide 7 1/4 front to...
Ok I really like the thought of LEDS. even if there a couple dollars more I think in the long run it will have less impact on my electricity bill and bulb replacement. Is there a certain output I will need for corals ?
