I have a 90g tank, stand two canisters to trade for a biocube I will trade everything with the 90g to get it started Oklahoma City/metro area

Ok I was thinking it said have one on the main line but not the return line

Ok. But wouldn't most of the water go back into the sump if I have the valve on the main return since the line going back to the sump would be the path of least resistance?

Ya but If I get a larger pump then needed and I want to divert some of the water from going back to the tank where should I have it go? Like what part of te sump should I have the extra water go

Or even back into the refugium?

If I do put in an elbow should I have it drain back into the pump section of the sump or the entrance to the sump

And since my return line is right beside the entrance tube it's goin to have to make at least 2 elbow bends to make it back at the least

Ok ok ya that makes perfect sense same with bends

The tank is a 90 gallon and it's a pre drilled in the one corner

How can I find the over flow rating for my tank? I need to know so I know what size of pump I need. Thank in advance!

And then if I have to turn off my lights or heater?

Is there any way I could hook up probes to monitor the salinity, ph, temp and monitor them from online or my phone

Ok I was just curious becouse I deploy a lot and my lady watches after my tanks for me. If I did get some probes would I be able to monitor those online through a app or something?

Ok thank you guys a lot! I value your opinions. So we covered lights and the sump. What about controllers and probes for like salinity and ph and temp how important are those?

Ok I am most certainly going to get one just didn't know where is should place it or if it needed to be in a specific place. Could some one have the protean skimmer in the same chamber as the return pump?

So the skimmer probably wouldn't fit in in the long narrow chamber closer to my feet? Or would it be ok to have the skimmer in the same chamber as the return pump?

Ok thank for all the great information. Back to the sump I have the dimensions of the chambers. On the left (I assume the return chamber where the pump will be is 11 5/8" front to back and 5 1/4" wide. Then there is the largest chamber I would think is the refugium 16 1/2" wide 7 1/4 front to...

Ok I really like the thought of LEDS. even if there a couple dollars more I think in the long run it will have less impact on my electricity bill and bulb replacement. Is there a certain output I will need for corals ?

Or mostly t5 and have a metal halide in to help from getting to hot
