I bought some a couple weeks ago and mine was doing the same thing... and my gravel is filled with it around where i planted it. I think its just damaged and dying leaves that are falling off, but i am not sure. Mine either get sucked up or fall down after awhile.

The anacharis is planted in clumps of 2 or 3 stems.... I'll try cutting off a leaf or two. And trim off the dead part on the bottom stalk thanks

Can i trim the leaves on the aponogeton? Like cut a few leaves? Or will this kill the leaf? Or maybe cut a leaf or to at the bulb? That way i wont have so many floating leaves at the top. Or so many in general.

Still no roots????? They look better i think and i cut two of them in half a few days ago and replanted those. But still theres no roots. And one or two of the plants are getting a yellowish color. And since they have not been rooted my adfs run into them and dig them up.

Thats Aponogeton its suppose to have the crinkles in it. All five of mine do. Once they hit that stage they take off growing and sooner or later you have leaves floating at the top of the tank.

Nope but i like the snails and if theres to many i will just pick them out.... since my tank isnt very big i can easily see them and get them if need be.

I went to my lfs today and bought a huge bunch of anacharis for 1.79! I can tell that it has baby snails in it too. In random spots in my tank it looks like theres egg clusters. Little translucent balls with white dots inside. If they are snails i'll most likely take the clusters and put them...

I went down to my local creek and found some regular snails. I decided to grab some and put them in my aquarium. I havn't put them in yet. I have them in a glass jar and every 20 mins or so i dump out the water and put in new. I'm going to keep doing this untill late tonight... that way there...

I didn't do anything special to get mine to breed. Just keeping up with the tank as usual.
