I personally would pick one or the other in that size tank.

I have both in my tank and they don't kill each other, but the danios were big stinkers in the beginning. The bullied and fin nipped quite a bit. I had 6 danios and 6 guppies. Now I'm up to 10 guppies and 3 fry and all is settled well. Just keep an eye on them and make sure the danios are well fed.

He has a steely blue color to him with hints of rose.

He does in the dorsal and anal. His caudal is perfect. I'm sure it goes with the territory of living in a cup.

Yea, I just bought a tank meant to be a sorority and I ended up dividing it to put the surprise boy in it. Wasn't expecting to get a male already so I guess I'll be getting another tank soon, lol. They didn't really differentiate on the males here it was just CT's and Male Betta's.

Yea, he was $3.50. All the females they had were VT, but I will be keeping an extra eye on them from now on. If I could find a HM female, I'd be in heaven!

I think if you really work with the stacking, you can minimize gaps and just fill them with the silicone. My issue is my tank is full of fish and water and seeing as how the silicone has to cure for 3 days... I'm trying to convince my husband to buy an identical tank and let me set up...

Has anyone here built a retaining wall in their tanks so that there are two levels? I would love to see pictures and hear tips if you have. I eventually want to plant in my tank and I thought it would look neat if I built a retaining wall and had the top level for plants and the lower level...

For reference, the bottom of the vials are touching the card so they are not lifted much. i only took them that way because you asked, though I do believe the instructions say to hold it against the card. I try to always read my results with natural daylight. Unfortunately all sets of pictures...
