The circular purple sponge type stuff is growing on all my live rock and spreading rapidly. If it is algae, how do I control it.

Just got an Orange shoulder. he is only about 2" right now. How long before they start to change from yellow to gray. Very cool fish, people cannot believe it when I tell them that he will be two shades of gray when he grows up. :roll:

Came home the other night and my clam was on its side wedged between two rocks and gutted. My daughter said she saw the eel with his head in there. I tried to feed him as usual but he was not hungry so I am betting it was him. Has anyone else had this experience?

I noticed this about two days ago. He swims like he is being shocked and is freaking out. He eats well and has great color. I have had this fish for about six months. Any ideas? :?:

They look like a white feather duster tube but are an almost translucent green and hollow in the middle. Just noticed them a couple of days ago. Any help would be appreciated. :?:
