    Update ony tank

It has been a while since I've posted on here, so I'm going to update you all on my tank. Since my last couple of posts, I've lost my Orange Dwarf Crayfish and a GBR. I've pulled out some plants that I didn't find attractive. All of my fish seem to be doing fine. My stock includes: 7 Bentos...

    My CPO

Usually mine molts every couple weeks. He takes about a day or two after molting. They are the coolest invertebrates that I've ever had

African dwarf frog: go or no go?

ADF's should be kept in a tank by themselves or with very slow fish like Bettas. Your fish are too fast and your ADF will get no food. So I wouldn't get any. I put some in my community tank a while back and they died.

    College Football!

Haha, college football realignment can be confusing, but Maryland joins the B1G 10 next year with Rutgers. I don't understand why Notre Dame joined the ACC (geographically odd to me, but I'm a traditionalist)

    College Football!

Agreed. Hopefully he doesn't get your team in a world of trouble someday. Take it from me... Pryor (who is similar to Manziel in some ways) was a jerk when he was at Ohio State.

    College Football!

I'm an Ohio State fan. OSU's defense wasn't as good last week due to suspension and injuries. Two very good teams IMO

    Flourish Excel not killing BBA

As of the moment, I don't have Kh and Gh test kits. I do have some spots on my Amazon Swords... which I know is another sign of a nutrient deficiency. Other than the BBA, my Vals or Dwarf Sagittaria look bad because of the algae. I will say that my Pogostemon Helferi has been my most successful...

    Flourish Excel not killing BBA

Okay I know this thread isn't about Rams, but does my female Electric Blue Ram look pregnant? She looks bigger all of the sudden.

    Flourish Excel not killing BBA

Sure. Here's some pictures: Not sure what is on the leaves in the last couple pictures. I'm switching to to dry ferts in about a week or two.... once I use up my Flourish. As of now I use Flourish (a capful) once a week and I use Excel once a day (3 mL). My lighting...

    Flourish Excel not killing BBA

Okay. Would I have to dilute the Excel?

    Flourish Excel not killing BBA

No. Wouldn't I have to turn the filters off?

    Flourish Excel not killing BBA

I've read that Flourish Excel should kill BBA, but that's still not the case for me. I still have it growing my tank. The Excel has also taken a toll on my Java Ferns. What should I do?

    College Football!

How great is it to have College Football back?! I've been waiting and waiting and it is finally here. So talk about your favorite team, make predictions, or talk about anything related to the subject. And remember, no fighting!

Wow! Both of those cichlids are awesome looking.

    Tell me about apistogramma

Thanks for the info. Which apistogramma could be kept in a pair, thrive in a 30 gallon planted tank that already houses two Rams, and are hardy?

    Tell me about apistogramma

Came across some apistogramma at my lfs. I was wanting to know some basic information about these dwarf cichlids. Are they peaceful? Should they be in pairs? Do they need caves? Are they good community fish like Rams? Please include more information if you can!

    New Fish Options.

Okay. I won't get the Upside-Down Catfish then. I have the CPO and the Rams don't bother it.

    New Fish Options.

Okay. How about some Upside-Down Catfish? I think a stock like this would be very colorful and interesting: 1 Electric Blue Ram (Female) 1 German Blue Ram (Male) 2 Upside-Down Catfish or 3 Amano Shrimp 1 Mexican Orange Dwarf Crayfish 5 Cory Cats 2 Panda Garra 7 Bentos Tetras 6 Threadfin...
