I've tried everything to get my mushrooms to darken up but ever since I put them in my tank they turned white. I've put them at the bottom of my tank and raised the lights but still white. Now I've put them in a shaded spot. Everything else seems to be growing great. Any suggestions? Thanks

I was just looking at my rocks and I noticed one rock has purple spots all over it and in one small spot it has what looks like little hairs that when I blew water at them they retract into the rock. These are the best pics I could get.
