I use filters for bigger tanks it works so much better. And use a little powerhead to keep all water moving the plants and fish love it. Hoe big was your free tank ? What do you have ?

They all seem fine with the move i brought some old gravel and rocks, wood and filter. So now i have an allpond solutions ep 1400 with uv light built in and a fluval 306 running on it so it should stay nice and clean. Would like to know what u guys think thanks :)

Hi guys so i just moved house. I already had a 40ltr corner tank And a 125ltr And in the new garden i found a 60ltr tank !!! Wooo :) so i cleaned it up and made a reflective roof for it and upgraded for free.

Im hoping to establish some moss on the bogwoods in both corners and see if the co2 system works

Is it hard to clean your gravel ? I guess a siphon would tangle and suck moss up

Look up eheim or nutrafin auto feeders they are good. Fill it up and set it to feed how much and how often you want

My shrimp are in with angels , gouramis and severums and they are fine. Get ocean rock with loads of holes and gaps for them to hide.

You could probably buy a weekend block feeder and that could do them but one auto feeder would be fine

Dont forget they can change colour and are probably the best at camouflaging themselves in aquariums.

Yea your fish can survive about 5 days without food so just one would be enough to keep them happy how many do you have ?

Ok i have in my tank red cherry shrimp x10 amano shrimp x2 and armoured shrimp x2. They keep your rocks clean and keep parasites down as they eat them. I hardly ever see them as they are shy but they seem to keep nook and crannies clean as that is where they sit hiding from fish. Also the amano...

Nutrafin ones are good and cheap

Does any body use marine glo flourecent lights in their freshwater ? I like the blue look but would it damage my plants or fish ? Im currently using haven power glo and aqua glo i got with the tank.

I use nutrafin waste control and regular changes.
