Dwarf puffer with TB...ANYTHING I can do?

The water parameters are stable and perfect, I just retested today also. I began supplementing with "Kent garlic extreme" four days ago. Today I began administering "seachem kanaPlex." I have also been researching hypericum (an herbal treatment for tb in people as well as mareks disease in...

Dwarf puffer with TB...ANYTHING I can do?

About six months ago I purchased 4 dwarf puffers. After 2 months I had one left, I thought due to bullying and the alpha not letting the weaker ones eat. The last one was living nicely in his own 20l tank but over the past few days I noticed he lost interest in food and began to swim strangely...

Tank mates for black mystery snails?

Well that was quick, my catfish has quite a taste for this large snail! I just moved him to my 75. Just hope he leaves my other cat alone. They were both in the 46 but I guess he didnt need a friend and became pretty territorial. Hope the 75 is big enough for them to claim their own territories!

Tank mates for black mystery snails?

I have a very large black Inca snail and hope it produces food for my dwarf puffer. I put him in my 46 but I have a small/med sized syno. multi. cat. I plan on moving the cat to my 60 gallon that I am just beginning to aquascape (it will be several weeks before any fish go in there). Will they...

I would love to be able to save him, but I have 4 stocked tanks and none nearly large enough for him (a 75, 60, 46, and 20 long).

    10g wolf fish?! really...

So I was searching craigslist for a larger tank and I came across an ad for a wolf fish. I curiously clicked on the link and some...person posted a 9" wolf fish in a 10gal tank!!! They said "he doesn't swim the full length of the tank so its no issue." If anyone can save this fish, he is located...

Dwarf puffers: food, #/gal, and friends

I have since moved them to s 20 long and am down to 3. The gen consensus recommends only keeping one as well and I no longer wish to add more. I have also discovered their love for snails, and have in turn decided to not try to find them tank mates :)

Gomez! He is 12 inches and an amazing fish. Though he has been slacking lately on his algae detail.
