I've been wanting wilds for a lonnng time now and i finnaly got some! :D :D :D I got a pair of b. Simplex, which is a mouthbrooder, and 4 young b. smaragdina which are bubblenesters. They are all sooo cute and I can't wait to breed them, especially the simplex as i've never had mouthbrooders...

What does DI do exactly? I know it Deionizes the water or whatever, but what does that mean? How does it differ from a membrane? What would it do to the water without the membrane? Just curious... thanks ashley

I use R/O water mixed with tap water for my tanks, this gets the pH to 6.8 and a GH of 3. But after about a day its starts to rise and is at 7.2 by the 2nd day after the change. I change my water everyother day so its usually only at 7.0 when i change, but still! Is there anything I can do to...
