I may get some aquasoil amazonia for my tank. How much do I need and I do I put it into my already established tank?

Is it more important to have strong lighting, good substrate, or good ferts? Because I have a very poor substrate.

I thought the leg mounts were just for glass rim open top tanks. I have a black trim. Also, what would you recommend for the beam angle? And....they don't list 25 gallons as a tank size.
