I actually did the opposite! I had the orange clown in first and added the black and white during christmas time. They fought a lot at first but now they are always together in the tank. I think the orange is in the process of becoming the female but its really way too early to tell

I didnt acclimate him to the light i think that was the problem so i turned them down. Water acclimation maybe half an hour to an hour

UPDATE: i have been keeping my lights at the lower power for the last couple of days and just this morning the anemone was significantly more spread out than he has been he still has a ways to go before fully opening and his head still hasnt made it out of the crack but he is getting more...

Sounds like they are spreading. They should be really easy to take care of. As long as you keep your water relatively clean and have sufficient light they will thrive. This coral will seriously put up with anything as far as iv seen
